Anonymity here is a set of absences. There is no telemetry channel. There is no Theta account on the handset. There is no requirement to sign the device into a vendor cloud. Device keys and a person’s name are not the same record, and Theta does not keep a map from serial number to customer after the device is delivered.
The order record
The invoice stores the contact channel you typed, the package, the model and storage when you are buying hardware, the settlement asset, the dollar amount, a reference, a secret link key, and the time. It does not store a device serial, a passphrase, or the IP address of the browser. A web server in front of the application may keep its own connection log. That log is not part of the order and is not used to build a profile.
Settlement
- MoneroThe asset that matches this posture. Amounts are the market equivalent of the invoice. The transfer does not publish a sender the way a transparent chain does.
- BitcoinUsable, and public. The ledger shows addresses and amounts. Use it when that visibility is acceptable.
- USDTRequested on the network named on the invoice. A transfer on another network can be lost.
Payment addresses are not published on the marketing site. Each one is bound to an invoice. With automatic collection, the processor issues a unique address and an exact amount for that invoice, and it learns the reference, the amount, and the asset, but not your contact channel. The invoice link is a secret. Anyone who has it can read the contact channel you entered. Treat the link as you would treat that address.
The device cannot anonymize a SIM that is registered to a passport, a photo that still carries a location, or a mailbox you also use under your name. Those links are made by the operator. The safety rules are how they are avoided.
